We all got together to wear pink to raise awareness for Breast Cancer UK, we had mini cakes, badges and t-shirts to raise money for this fantastic charity.
We raised a fantastic £308!
In March 2024, the team donated £178 to Children in Need.
We asked staff to wear red for a day and donate £2 we had a very successful day and raised a fantastic £178!
In November 2023, the team donated £235.9 to BEN.
We had our Bens Big Breakfast BBQ and raised a fantastic £235.90 for the motor trade charity BEN.
In October 2023, the team donated £132 to Breast Cancer Now.

2023 Biggest Coffee Morning Success for Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Friday 29th September we held our own Coffee Morning at JLR Bristol in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Huge congratulations to the team for this fabulous fundraiser and thank you to our staff and customers for supporting us!

In May 2023, the team donated £479 to Diabetes Uk.
Nick decided to run the Bristol Half Marathon and asked for some help with the fundraising side of it. We put together a Just Giving page and picked a charity that was close to Nick as his brother suffers with Diabetes, he set a goal of £250 but managed a fantastic £479 for this amazing charity!
Nick got COVID the week before so was unsure if he would be able to run it but having the all clear just days before he really dug deep and made it over the finish line.. Well done Nick!
In April 2023, the team donated £70 to Bobby Moore Fund Cancer research.
Team JLR Bristol helping beat cancer
We have joined the Football Shirt Friday squad to help tackle bowel cancer. On Friday 21 April, the Bobby Moore Fund were calling on people across the nation to wear their favourite football shirts, share a selfie on social media using #footballshirtfriday and donate to the Bobby Moore Fund. 100% of the money raised will go towards funding pioneering bowel cancer research.
In April 2023, the team donated £32 to Empowering Futures.
We raffled our giant Easter Egg to raise some funds for our Charity Empowering Futures.
In February 2023, the team donated £26 to Empowering Futures.
We did a lot of blowing up of our biodegradable balloons and had a small competition for colleagues and customers to guess the number of balloons in the car, we raised £26.00!

It was ‘National Hot Chocolate Day’, we sold hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows along with a raffle to win our velvetiser machine and we raised an amazing £156.33!

It was ‘National Old Stuff Day’ so we decided to hold a bring and buy sale, we did really well and lots of people brought in there old things and we raised a fantastic £53 for our charity!

In November 2022, the team donated £66.5 to Noah's Retreat.
We had a November Tuck shop raising a fantastic £66.50 towards Noah’s Retreat!
In October 2022, the team donated £28 to Noahs Retreat.
We had a fantastic time dressing up and carving pumpkins…. but all for a great cause, Noah’s retreat is going to help families with sick children make memories.
Noah himself who has a brain tumour is raising money to buy a static caravan for other families to use.
In September 2022, the team donated £248.87 to Macmillan Cancer support.
We carried out a Macmillan Coffee Morning selling cakes and treats, we raised a fantastic £248.87!
In August 2022, the team donated £116.19 to Elm Tree Farm.
We couldn’t wait to start baking again, we had over 10 entries and invited everyone to buy a slice of cake.
We had a fantastic time baking and eating cake along with raising money for our wonderful charity, there was so much competition that we had 2 joint winners:

Another month and more sweets!!! We ran another 2 tuck shops, amazing donations from lots of staff members and a fantastic amount raised..

We ran another successful Tuck shop with even more goodies on offer, everyone loved it!

We decided to run a Charity Tuck shop which went down really well, so we did it twice this month and we are now going to try and run it more often.

We had a Charity Football Match, Sales Vs Service it was a fantastic game and we raised a fantastic amount of money and the winners were ……………………………………………

In September 2022, the team donated £281.39 to Breast Cancer Now.
We asked colleagues to Wear Something Pink and donate a minimum of £2, we managed to raise a fantastic £281.39.
People came with a range of Pink socks, hair bands, shoes and dresses, all for a fantastic charity.
In July 2022, the team donated 8 working days to Elm Tree Farm.
Tucked away on a 37-acre site in Stapleton, Bristol Elm Tree Farm is a small working farm and one of Bristol’s hidden treasures.
On our site, we breed a variety of livestock including cattle, lambs, pigs, and chickens. We also grow a wide range of produce including fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers using organic horticultural methods, and our Splinters project produces a number of wooden products for the home and garden.
All our produce can be bought from our onsite farm shop.
We’re also a thriving social enterprise and Care Farm, providing support and training to adults with learning disabilities and autism, and are part of Brandon Trust, a leading learning disability charity.

Teckels Animal Charity donation
On April 11th it was National pet day so we decided to put an animal donation box together, our colleagues very kindly donated generously and the monies raised was given to Teckels, a local charity who take in unwanted pets and rehome them. They were so pleased with all of the donations from dog coats to toys and food.
In March 2022, the team donated £205 to Changes Bristol.

Sytner Jaguar Land Rover Bristol held a few different events, an Easter raffle along with an ongoing Sow and Grow competition, which we managed to raise an amazing £205!
This was donated to Changes Bristol who are a local mental health charity helping people with a range of problems from anxiety to depression in our local area.
In April 2022, the team donated 7 working days to Elm Tree Farm.
Elm Tree Farm Digging Day
We arranged a team of us together to go to a local farm, Elm Tree Farm – Brandon Trust, they Support adults and children with learning disabilities and autism to live the life they choose.
Seven of us had an enormous job to dig over 2 vegetable patches that would usually take their team two months, we managed to do this in the day. We also helped clean the woodwork shop.
I can only say that the whole team felt really proud to be able to give something back to such a worthy cause.
In December 2021, the team donated £221.5 to Bristol Children Charity.
Donation to Bristol Children Chartiy
We wanted to try and raise some funds for this fantastic charity so we held a Christmas raffle to win a hamper, we sold tickets to colleagues and customers and managed to raise a fantastic £221.50!
This donation went directly to children that are in need of beds, school uniform, IT equipment in the Bristol area and everyone that works for the charity is a volunteer so all the funds go directly to the children.
In September 2021, the team donated £186.52 to Cruse Breavement Chartiy.
Artistic Flair
We decided to do a ‘Paint your own model car’ to raise money for charity, we asked colleagues to nominate a charity close to them and Cruse Bereavement Charity came up as they had helped one of our colleagues get through a very tough time, so we decided to donate the money raised to them. We sold the cars and then colleagues had to paint them, we had a lot of entries so we split the categories into two, one for adult and the other for children, we asked colleagues to pop some money into the cars that they wanted to win, colleagues then had the chance to buy back their cars, we had 2 very happy winners Luke and Leo and we also managed to raise a fantastic £186.52!
In April 2021, the team donated £1025 to Brandan Trust (Elm Tree Farm).
We are very proud to have raised £1025 for Elm Tree Farm (Brandan Trust) who run a local farm, they were very hard hit by the pandemic and lost 80% of their workforce due to them having to self isolate, they have just about managed to stay afloat and have now manged to get over 50% of the team back to work, we were very pleased to be able to help them out at such a hard time with a donation and we hope to keep the relationship going in the future with some helping days when we can.
In October 2019, the team donated £100 to Cancer Research.
After months and months dedicated to training Charlie took part in the ultra MMA at UWE Filton for Cancer Research. It’s a great event, Charlie even manages to win against his opponent. Thank you to everyone for your support!
In December 2019, the team donated £175 to Brandon Trust Yew Tree Farm.
This year for our Guy Salmon Bristol Raffle we decided to donate the money raised to a local Charity that was recently broken into and had a lot of there tools and money that they had been raised from selling Christmas Trees stolen! They are a charity farm for people with learning disabilities and autism. A range of different activities are carried out on the site, from looking after animals to a wood workshop making items to sell in their shop and a market garden where again they grow and sell the produce. It is a fantastic trust and we were very proud to give them £175.
In November 2019, to Keynsham Food Bank.
This Christmas we wanted to give something back to people in food crisis this winter, so we decided to give to our local food bank. We successfully managed to fill up 2 boxes of food as well as essential toiletries. We then hand delivered it to them, they were very grateful for our donation.
In September 2019, the team donated £129 to Kidney Research UK.
The Great JLR Bristol Bake off
Inspired by the ‘Great British Bake off’, we decided to hold our own event for charity and chose to donate the funds to Kidney Research UK, as 2 members of our team have been affected and supported by the cause. We set a date and invited bakers to come forward and for those who baking wasn’t their thing, we also asked for Judges. The competition was held in the reception area which meant that the team and customers could all be involved. This sparked a great interest and we sold lots of cakes to raise awareness and money for our chosen charity.
In August 2017, the team donated £3500 to British Heart Foundation.
Butcome Trail Walk
Jack was Born on the 28th October 2016 weighing just 4lb 13oz. Just seconds after being born he was taken to NICU and after a brave fight and numerous operations and infections, Jack lost his battle on the 02nd January 2017. To help Ashley and Beth raise some funds, we decided to do a walk called the Butcombe trail. We split into two teams with a map and with a little knowledge off we went. A few pub stops along the way (well it was the Butcombe trail ) both teams finished at approximately the same time. We raised a staggering £3500 that Ashley and Beth decided to donate to the British Heart foundation.
In August 2019, the team donated £3500 to Seebos Fundraiser.
Seebo
Earlier this year we sadly lost a valued member of our team Seebo who lost his battle with cancer Seebo was only 29 and left behind a young family and caring friends, who decided to raise some money for his family. Hi colleague held a raffle whereby people were asked to buy a box to win a prize. The team set up a go fund me page, alongside many more activities raising a huge £3500.00 and rising – Well done all

From our Christmas Charity Raffle at Jaguar we managed to raise £236.60 from staff and Customers who were then asked to vote for a charity of their choice to donate the funds to, they decided that the air ambulance was the charity of choice.
In July 2019, the team donated £150 to Seebo.
The Great 8 Abseil for Seebo
The Great 8 decided to get together and take on Avon Gorge for an Abseil to raise money for our colleague Seebo who sadly lost his battle with cancer earlier this year he was only 29 leaving behind a young family .
In September 2018, the team donated 1 working days to Pancreatic Cancer.
Guy Salmon Jaguar Land Rover colleagues were delighted to support the Charity Clay Shooting Day at Lady’s Wood Shooting School. The team donated the cartridges, so that the guests could have a successful day shooting and raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Charity.
We were proud to display a selection of our Jaguar Land Rover vehicles on the day, which generated great interest. The British Clay Pigeon Champion gave demonstrations throughout the day, inspiring the guest’s to return to this beautiful venue.
A great day was had by all whilst raising much needed funds for a fantastic charity.
In June 2018, the team donated £100 to Whitchurch School.
Guy Salmon Jaguar Land Rover Bristol were delighted to support the children at Whitchurch Primary School recently and were asked by 5 pupils for sponsorship for their F1 School Challenge.
The challenge took place in June 2018, where the children work together in teams to create an astonishing car to be raced at the regional finals. The school did extremely well and they managed to finish in 11th place out of 37 teams.
