From our Christmas Charity Raffle at Jaguar we managed to raise £236.60 from staff and Customers who were then asked to vote for a charity of their choice to donate the funds to, they decided that the air ambulance was the charity of choice.
In November 2018, the team donated £300 to Meriden School.
Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry were proud to support Meriden School Fireworks event at Barkers’ Butts Rugby Football Club to enable the school to reach their fundraising goals.
Meriden School PTA believe in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle to improve both the mental and physical well-being of their pupils. The school are very close towards raising all the money required for their new IT equipment and are excited for their next fundraiser, which is one the children will love – their very own climbing wall in the school! Guy Salmon Land Rover are very proud to be supporting them with future projects.
Their Fireworks display was a delight to watch despite the cold and it was great to see families and the local communities come together to support a great cause for a local school.
In October 2018, the team donated £100 to Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Guy Salmon Jaguar Northampton were delighted to support Cynthia Spencer Hospice on their recent Charity Golf Day at Northampton Golf Club.
Since 2007, the Club has been home to the well established Charity Golf days organised by Mick, in memory of his late Wife, Lydia and have raised over £40,000 for this well-deserving charity. The Fundraising Manager John said,
We would like to thank Mick and all his family and friends who helped organise the day, as well as Northampton Golf Club for being such great hosts. Mick’s golf day has now become such an established event in the Club’s and the Hospice calendar, our appreciation also goes out to the 100+ golfers who helped make the day such a fantastic success.
The day was a huge success and a fantastic £3,887 was raised. Guy Salmon are proud to offer our continued support to the Hospice.
In September 2018, the team donated 1 working days to Pancreatic Cancer.
Guy Salmon Jaguar Land Rover colleagues were delighted to support the Charity Clay Shooting Day at Lady’s Wood Shooting School. The team donated the cartridges, so that the guests could have a successful day shooting and raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Charity.
We were proud to display a selection of our Jaguar Land Rover vehicles on the day, which generated great interest. The British Clay Pigeon Champion gave demonstrations throughout the day, inspiring the guest’s to return to this beautiful venue.
A great day was had by all whilst raising much needed funds for a fantastic charity.

A great effort from some keen bakers in our team, ensured we had plenty of cakes to offer customers and colleagues in our coffee morning. We were delighted to raise just over £300 this year.
In June 2018, the team donated £100 to Whitchurch School.
Guy Salmon Jaguar Land Rover Bristol were delighted to support the children at Whitchurch Primary School recently and were asked by 5 pupils for sponsorship for their F1 School Challenge.
The challenge took place in June 2018, where the children work together in teams to create an astonishing car to be raced at the regional finals. The school did extremely well and they managed to finish in 11th place out of 37 teams.

Guy Salmon Land Rover Portsmouth Football Team
Guy Salmon Land Rover Portsmouth colleagues gave up their Sunday to join raising money for Football for Cancer. They took part in the 5 a-side Corporate Cup and managed to make it into the Semi-finals. It was a fun day getting involved for a great cause.
Football for Cancer helps local families by providing grants to ease the financial burden whilst dealing with the disease, since starting in 2008 the charity and its supporters have raised close to £1,000,000 for local Cancer charities and people affected by the disease.
In September 2018, the team donated £3503.25 to Berkshire Air Ambulance.
Alan Davis Head Of Business at Guy Salmon Ascot teamed up with 5 other keen cyclists from the Camberley Rugby Club to take on the challenge of cycling from Camberley to Paris in under three days, In aid of the Berkshire Air Ambulance.
They covered 200 Miles in less then three days and made it victoriously to Paris.
They set a target to raise £3,000 and thanks to everyone who supposed them, they have managed to raise a impressive £2707.00 and donations are still coming in.

Acorns Hospice
Following a successful day painting the children’s bedrooms at Acorns Hospice last year, the Divisional team were pleased to return again to volunteer at the Birmingham based Hospice where they took on a new challenge – the outdoor space.
Acorns have three hospices in the West Midlands that care for children and their families, by providing respite care to children with life limiting illnesses and offering support to their parents and siblings throughout.
The divisional team were proud to spend a day helping in their much loved gardens by getting stuck into the task at hand with lots of weeding, trimming hedges, cleaning patio areas, lots and lots of watering and the cleaning of the precious named pebbles placed in the stream within the memorial garden.

In April 2018, the team donated 1 working days to Working for Walton.
The Team at Land Rover Wakefield proudly supporting Working for Walton in their annual litter picking on Saturday 7th April, for one of their giving back to the community projects. This year despite the bad weather they had a good turn out with 53 bags of litter collected.

The Guy Salmon Ascot team got involved with Wear A Hat Day to raise money and awareness about Brain Tumours.
In March 2018, the team donated £200 to Sports Relief.
Our Guy Salmon Stockport team getting involved with Sports Relief. They all dressed up in sportswear, representing their favourite sports.
They had a fun filled day and raised a fantastic £200 for Sport relief which will be matched by Guy Salmon for this worthwhile course.
