40 Years Service, November 2019
Sue originally joined the group back in November 1979 at BMW Sheffield in the Accounts department. Sue worked her way up to being the Dealership Accountant, which made her only 1 of 3 Accountants within the Sytner Group back in the mid 90’s.
When the Sytner Group acquired their first Land Rover Dealership in 1998, Sue moved across to be the Dealership Accountant, a position she has held ever since. She is held in the highest regard within the Sytner Group for her continual accuracy of the accounting function and has won numerous awards throughout the years.
Congratulations Sue on 40 years outstanding service!
50 Years Service, September 2019
It looks like this could be a Group record, John Wicks, Warranty / H&S Controller recently celebrated 50 Years service!!
Alan Eldridge, Head of Business got the whole team together to present John with Champagne, cards and gifts to mark this fantastic achievement and thanking him for his continual efforts. John also made a great speech to the whole team, explaining that one of the main reasons he is still with us is due to the great “Family” atmosphere at Maidstone LR. He has seen the team grow and grow, especially over the last few years, but that everyone fits in to the “One Team” feeling. He said he leaves home in the morning from one family and comes to join another for the day! Leaving everyone feeling great, he did also comment that he is not quite sure about another 50 though!!

10 Years Service, September 2019
Paul has been a consistent member of the Service team, stood front of house each morning ensuring there are always free car parking spaces for customers dropping their vehicle in for Service.

20 Years Service, June 2019
Geoff has been a valuable asset to the company and the Service Department for the last 20 years. He began his Land Rover life as a Technician and MOT Tester moving on to become a Service Advisor. His wealth of experience and knowledge of the product has proved invaluable over the years.
Geoff consistently delivers excellent customer service and thinks nothing of coming in on his days off to help or personally deliver vehicles back to customers.
A few of our younger Service Advisors have been taken under Geoff’s wing and now fondly call him “Uncle Geoff”.
